Mountain Celebration

August 21 a rare total solar eclipse will be traversing the North Georgia Mountains  It is a reminder of the wondrous ways of nature that have enchanted and inspired man since pre-history.

We are also reminded that nature and natural law preserve and demand balance.

Come to the mountains early and spend the days leading up to the eclipse with learning of man’s part in the balancing and explore his future place, if any, on this good earth.

August 17

Begin with a public forum on climate change in Cleveland hosted by the White County Democratic Party. 


The White County Democratic Party is sponsoring a Climate Change Forum at the Roy Ash Building in Cleveland on August 17 at 6:30 pm.
