Our meeting will feature a special program with 9thDDWN member, Melba Gandy speaking from an outstanding lifetime career in government and politics which began in her teen years in Florida. Melba served in administrative positions in State and Federal agencies. Then in the 1970s putting to use her experience in emergency planning and management she established her consulting firm Megan Inc. which she led until retirement to North Georgia in 1999.
Sustaining members will be electing our 9thDDWN officers for the coming year. There is an impressive number of impressive ladies who have expressed a willingness to serve. Nominations will also be accepted from the floor. It’s going to be a great year.
Please Note Also: First meeting of 2019 9th District Democratic Women’s Network will include a Mini-Fundraiser, a Bucket Raffle. Items are needed for the Bucket Raffle.
